Description
Sitting on a sublime plateau in Oakville’s eastern hills at elevations ranging from 800-1400 feet, our sites are optimally situated for perfect ripening. Two clones of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon were harvested between September 18th and October 4th in this remarkable season. A beautiful warm and early spring folded into temperate summer days-an envious season for any farmer. Beautifully proportioned tannins accompany classic right bank attributes and Napa Valley vibrancy. Cabernet Franc was stunning at harvest and it graces the wine with summer berry, rose petal and a gentle hint of Lapsang tea. This is a wine to experience in its youth and set aside for distant occasions.
